Sledding

I love my Mom to death, however, she has an endurance for sledding that I will never comprehend. Growing up I remember sitting on my tube at the top of the hill after one hour of sledding fun, only to have my Mom continue to enjoy sledding for three more hours. My siblings will have to validate my memories on this one...but I remember 4 hour sledding excursions!

Anyways, Kyson is my kind of sledder! He loves a good 20-30 minutes out in the snow, and then we bolt inside for a cup of hot chocolate! Don, Angie and kids came over a couple Saturdays ago for sledding, cocoa and chili. Since then Clark, Kyson and I have gone out a couple times. It's been so cold lately that we don't go outside much, a little sledding here and there, and lots of family movie nights!

I do have some Christmas pictures to post, however, I want a picture of us all in our Christmas jammies, and I haven't been able to get one yet. So...one of these days I'll get motivated and get us all in matching pj's for a picture, and then I'll post our Christmas.

That was fun! Well fun for me watching from the window:) I'm glad we discovered the driveway hill. It's the perfect sledding spot. We might have to come over again before the snow melts.

p.s. According to your blog you are 54 weeks pregnant and your baby is the size of a watermelon. That is one long pregnancy.....:)

Looks like winter in Idaho! All the kids are warm and cozy in their new winter cloths and having fun on the farm again. We are glad it can be enjoyed! Kids are growing up fast as we look at the photo's.
We love you all! Mom, Brenda & Grandma

YES WE TOOK FOREVER LONG SLEDDING ADVENTURES. Remember how all of us would be crying by the end because our hands and feet would be so cold from being in the snow for so long? Although, we were pretty awesome sledders. I believe it was things like this that encouraged us to start the slogan of "mom, if we leave while we're all still having fun, we'll want to come again:)"
