Sun Valley Biking

This summer we didn't do much besides weddings because Clark's sister Paige got married three weeks before us, and his brother Roger got married two weeks after us. So this last weekend we went up to Sun Valley and went biking with Clark's brother Don and his wife Angie and kids. It was a lot of fun. They put all three of their kids in the bike trailer pulled by Don, and we took off. We stopped and got some yummy carmel apples in Sun Valley and then headed home. It was nice to do something outdoors before it gets too cold! We are so lucky to have Don and Angie close by and we love doing things with them!

My great husband...

Here is one of my favorite memories so far of married life. I came into the kitchen on Sunday morning and we had decided to make roast that day. We were getting everything into the crock pot before we left for church and Clark asked what he could do. I asked him to cut the onion because my eyes water so bad when I cut onions. I walked into the kitchen a couple minutes later and he was wearing his sunglasses and cutting the onions! He told me that the glasses blocked the fumes, what a husband I have! He also surprised me with flowers the next day for our one month anniversary!

These are some pictures from our Honeymoon. We went to Hawaii and had the time of our lives. The first pictures are from the first day we got to Honolulu, and the beach that was outside our hotel. The next picture is from a hike we did when we stayed in Maui. It was an awesome bamboo hike. Clark kept telling me that bamboo is stronger pound for pound than steel! So now you all know another great fact about bamboo! Our favorite part about Hawaii was probably snorkeling. We saw some great fish, and finally on our last day a sea turtle! We were ready to come home and start our life in Twin Falls though. Since then we've had the time of our lives being married, figuring out life together, budgeting, grocery shopping, shower curtain shopping, writing thank you letters, going to three different churches to find the ward we belong to, washing windows, working...and loving every minute of it!

I'm blogging...

Yes it's true, I'm starting a blog. I don't quite understand blogging yet, but my roommates Tarisa and Mattie blog, and now my new sister-in-law Angie blogs, so there must be something to it!

Clark and I got married August 15th, 2008 in the Bountiful Temple. We spent a week or so in Hawaii, which was incredible, and now live in Twin Falls, Idaho.
