I'm one of THOSE moms!

Peace Baby, Peace!

I always wondered why the only things mom's ever talk about is their kids. Now I know. I think Kyson is the greatest thing in the world and all I want to do is hold, hug, kiss, play and talk about him. Clark and I entertain ourselves for hours just looking at him!

Yep...I'm now one of those moms.

Just wait until it happens to you, its inevitable.

Two Months Old

At two months Kyson:
Weighs 11 lbs 14 oz
Is 23.5 inches long
Smiles all the time
Holds his head up pretty good
Has discovered his fist and frequently tries to shove the whole thing in his mouth
Wakes up once or twice a night to eat
"Talks" to you like crazy if you give him a little attention

Our first time swimming...probably one of my all time least favorite pictures of myself, but Kyson looks so dang cute in his hat and swim diaper...which I apparently didn't put on right because seconds after this picture was taken I felt a warm sensation trickling down my lap.

My first attempt at cake decorating! My cousin-in-law (don't know if that is a real term) Mardi makes incredible cakes and had me over to learn how to use fondant. It was fun, I have a lot of respect now for the people who are good at it! If you live in the DFW area and need a cute cake done she's your woman!
