Second Trip to Utah/Idaho

We flew back home 2 weeks after the first trip for my sister's wedding and the Wyatt Riot 2010. It was so fun to see our families!

Studies have shown that babies that visit a farm within their first year of life have a decrease chance of developing allergies!! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Wyatt!

Kyson looks like a grumpy old farmer.

My brother got ordained an elder the same day as Kyson's blessing.

The whole crew! We were glad that we could have some of our family be with us. Clark's parents and sister/brother-in-law came down from Idaho, and both sets of my grandparents as well as my uncle and aunt from Alaska were able to be there.

My sister got married and we entrusted Kyson to my 18 year-old brother. When we came out of the sealing we found them in the temple waiting room like this!

Clark and Kyson Survive

Well, maternity came and went too quick and I am back at work. I feel very lucky because I love my job. I work at a very large hospital in Fort Worth. I work on a cardiac telemetry unit and a step-down ICU unit. I love caring for people and I've really come to love the people I work with. But as much as I love my job, I LONG to be home with my son. Needless to say while Clark finishes school I'll have to work a little bit longer!

I work three 12-hour shifts a week. And considering that I work in Fort Worth I'm actually gone for 13.5 hours a day. When we got back from our first road trip I worked three days in a row, had Sunday off and then worked the next three days in a row...and Clark had Kyson the whole time. I must admit I was a little worried about the two of them, but Clark handled it like a champ!

I found some of these pictures on my camera that Clark had taken while I was at work.

My friend Amber and I made these beanbags for our boys.

Road Trip to Utah/Idaho

Clark and I had been talking about taking a road trip home while I was still on maternity leave. On July 13th at 9:00 am we decided to do it, and by noon we were packed up and in the car. We drove to Albuquerque, New Mexico the first day and stayed in a hotel. The next day we drove up through Colorado and in Utah. We stayed with my family for five days and then drove up to Idaho for five days. It was SO fun to be around family again! Kyson did GREAT on the drive, we barely heard him.

Went to lunch with some friends!
