Blake's Farewell...Kingston Jamaica

The last part of our trip to Utah consisted of saying by the my brother, Blake. He is going to be serving a 2-year mission in the Kingston, Jamaica Mission. We are so excited for him!

Blake is one of those people who is genuinely good. He is so fun to be around. He has a great sense of humor and is fun to talk to. Kyson loves him with all his heart and calls him "Bubba." 

Last time we were down Blake made Kyson a bow and arrow out of sticks, and Kyson loves them. He still carries around a knife that Blake carved him on our family camping trip. My only complaint is that my son is obsessed with weapons because of it...but that was bound to happen sooner or later right?

He will truly be missed, but we will share Bubba with Jamaica for awhile, and we can't wait to hear about his adventures!

My mom read to us every night and every Sunday afternoon growing up. She now does the same thing with my kids. I love it.

These two seem to have a special bond. I think they speak the same soul language!

After Blake spoke in church we had lots of family and friends over for a meal. Even though so many people were wanting to talk to Blake, I looked outside and saw him and Kyson playing on the tramp.

This is what happens for at least 12 of the 24 hours each day at my parents house.

-Grandma Wyatt's 90th Birthday Party and Wyatt Reunion

-Going to a session at the Bountiful Temple with all my family that is endowed

-Listening to my brother, Blake, talk in church

-Saying 'bye' to Blake ("Bubba") for the last time in two years
